TERMS & CONDITIONS

(The guest are hereby requested to read all these conditions carefully as he/she shall be bound by them)

THE CONTRACT:

When any booking is made and it is accepted by us either by email, fax or letter confirmation, it constitutes a contract between you and villa Retreat, Kodaikanal. All bookings are taken on the condition that you accept these terms and conditions.

'Check-in' is the first day from which the Hotel is booked for the guest. If the reserved room / cottage is occupied on the previous night of the check-in date, Check-in will be possible only after 10 AM.

‘Check-out’ is the last day for which the Hotel is booked for the guest. Check-Out time is 9 AM

Maximum 2 adults and 1 extra person OR 2 adults and 2 child ( 3 to 8 years ) will be allowed to stay in one Room / Cottage


High Season TARIFF may be applicable during:-

- Premium weekends of the year
- Festival Period
- All National Holidays like Central & State Government Holidays of Any State.


BOOKING AND PAYMENT


To block the Rooms/Cottages for the dates requested you will have to make a minimum of 50% payment of the period of your stay, in advance. If you are unable to pay the advance, the rooms/cottages for the dates requested by you will be blocked provisionally and will be allotted to you, only if the rooms/cottages are vacant at the time of your arrival. Priority and Confirmation will be given to those who pay advance before arrival.

Guests are requested to read carefully the information/photos given in the website regarding the tariff, facilities, location, etc, before making the payment.

VALIDITY

Hotel Tariffs and other prices are subject to change any time and without prior notice.

TAXES

Tourists will have to pay taxes on the published tariff as per Government notification.

SITE ACCURACY

The Tariff, photos, description of facilities, location, are updated frequently and accurate to our knowledge. The photos, which is shown in the website is without any modification or special effects. We reserve the right to change any brochure or information on the website before or after your booking due to any events beyond our control. In case we are aware of any changes, sufficiently in advance we will notify you at the time of booking.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation / Change in Arrival Date, must be intimated to us in writing.
Such cancellation / change in date will attract following retention charges:

22 days before the Arrival date 100% Refund
8 to 21 days 50% of the proposed period of stay will be kept as retention charge
7 days before the arrival date No Refund

REFUND

No refund for early checkouts, than the proposed duration of stay. The Company reserves the right to determine the quantum of refund payable in case of cancellation/no show/ and the decision of the Company on the quantum of refund shall be final. Refunds (if any) for amendment and/or cancellations will be paid directly to the Clients by Cheque. It would take at least 14 days to process such refunds.

ARBITRATION

For all claims or disputes of whatsoever nature, shall be resolved by a Sole Arbitrator to be nominated by the Company. The arbitration shall be in held in Kodaikanal.

PAYMENT MODE

Payment can be made by depositing cash or Cheque favoring "Villa Retreat” can be remitted at any ICICI or State Bank of India branches across India.
